Frog With a Monocle

In May 2023, shortly after playing with The Molotovs at their Youth Explosion event, bass player and singer Lilia was at at London Youth Folk Ensemble, when she heard fellow band member, Rufus, playing great guitar. Lilia approached Rufus about forming a band. It was Rufus that came up with the band name ‘Frog With a Monocle’. The band was in urgent need of a drummer and advertised for one on social media. Tom replied – who just so happened to be a former member of LYFE and knew Lilia and Rufus well. So Frog With a Monocle was born! Over the past year they have been rehearsing really hard – and played their first gig at Junior Open Mic in June 2024. They have also been writing original material – and one of those songs ‘Get Out of My Head’ was released on Spotify and other outlets on September 13th
